Evening walk

We finally had a beautiful sunny evening so Jachen and I went out for some fresh air. We found some good stuff. Isn't that fluffy bunny the cutest?! Okay, maybe a little mangy looking in the picture, but was super cute in real life. I called it little Ewok bunny. I love going on walks and our little bite sized Village is full of character. Thank goodness for my new Itouch that lets me take pics like crazy.

That tree is growing flat onto that farmhouse.

On one of the floors in that pink building was where Jachen went to Kindergarten.

Aftermath

It is the morning after the beastly hill climb. My legs are sore. It is hard to walk. The hill whipped me. Yet somehow that makes me even more eager to go again. Not today though, next week.

A Beast

Today I went for a walk, I haven't done that for quite some time. I decided to tackle the dreadful hill behind our house. The hill climb was harder than I remembered it being. Luckily the view was beautiful. The below picture shows the whereabouts of our home. I just might even be pointing to it. One of those cows watched me intensely as I passed by both times. I wonder what she/he/it was thinking.

That road that the arrow is pointing to might seem wimpy, but don't let that deceive you. It is long and uphill. My final destination was this bench, pictured in the below picture, which overlooks rolling hills after rolling hills. I only sat there for a bit because I was so hungry and bugs were invading. Right after this picture was taken a bug pinched or bit or crawled on my neck and I almost lost my Itouch to the pavement, luckily I have the reflexes of Chuck Norris and I caught my Itouch by the headphone cord. Alas, the bugs won again and I was headed home for lunch. Was it a great walk? Yes. Was it beauitful? Yes. Would I climb that hill again? Hmm, probably.

Walks-my little big adventure

in my last post i mentioned i went on a walk, a long walk. here are some of the images i saw and captured while along my way. i walked over 4miles each way, it was wonderful. this road i took was one of the ways which we drive out of our village and i wanted a closer look at everything. i was able to enjoy the scenery more than if i was just speedily driving past it. it was a beautiful sunny day with a slight breeze.

i walked to the end of that restaurant which is about 5 miles away, then turned around and went home.

when i passed these cows, they were looking at me shady.

a tradition in switzerland by the builders is to put a tree on the roof when the roof is done. they go cut the top off a tree up in the hills. strange but true.

i love going on walks

the other day i went for an hour long walk. finally. i tied my laces, grabbed my ipod, camera and house key and was out the door. luckily i brought my camera because now you can get a better look at where we live. it is such a beautiful area. enjoy the pictures of some things i found along my way.

jachen suggested i make a collection of photos where they are building here, to see the progress. we are sad they are building here because we are afraid it will block the beautiful hill side. before it was beautiful grass with cows.
